CoastGhosts is a single-player 2D side-scroller. During play, players take the role of a professional diver. Their in-game goals are to clean the ecosystem of harmful ghost gear, and learn about ways to prevent it. Beyond the gameplay, players will walk away with awareness of the ghost gear issue and resources they can pursue in order to take real life action in support of the cause.

During the Course of Spring Quarter 2021, our team worked alongside the World Wildlife Fund to create a game as part of GAM 440 - Games with a Purpose Bootcamp. This prototype game about ghost gear was aptly named: Coast Ghosts
